What is a blog?
A blog is effectively a personal web site that is relatively informal, personal, easy to update and invites comment and replies from its readers. The term 'blog' is short for web log, which means a 'log' of information on a web page.
Blogs are a great way for informed, enthusiastic and interesting individuals to get their thoughts and ideas across to an online audience. Blogs have become an important source of news and views and are now a standard part of the information mix, supplementing the news, features and opinion produced by traditional journalists and commentators.
