2 people have asked me what's happening to bbc gardening magazines-this is what bbc tells me for what it's worth.

BBC bod toby-

Hi Matt, as part of its five year plan BBC Worldwide is carrying out a review of its magazines business, which includes all of its titles. Until the outcome of the review we won’t be able to give out any more details

Despite press speculation – much of it inaccurate – we can assure you that no decision has been taken about the future of BBC Magazines. We are looking at a wide range of options to consider what is best for the future success of our business and our great magazines. Whatever the outcome of the review, a priority will be to guarantee that our titles retain their high quality editorial standards and principles.

Should there be any changes, there will be a formal announcement. Thanks

Don't think we've ever met. Very kind of you to mention me but I'm afraid your source is wrong. No telly auditions for me. Iwas briefly a presenter on Gardeners' World many moons ago but can't say I ever felt comfortable in front of the camera.

Re the accent, it's from Reading (think Ricky Gervais.)
